We have been celebrating world book day, perfecting our drawing skills, making the most of the few sunny days we've had by playing outside with our play equipment, messy station and mud kitchen, tyres, diggers and bubbles. On our colder and snowier days we've been getting messy with paint!
Our core book at the moment is "Polar bear, polar bear what do you hear? Which looks at animals and the noises they make.
We have also been celebrating world book day, lots of us dressed up as our favourite book characters. We have been looking at and talking about minibeasts, getting messy by creating footprint and handprint art out of mud, paint and other mediums, we have also been making constructions out of mobilo (our new resource for Rainbowfish Room).
Our core book is "all afloat Noahs boat" which looks at rhyming words, how we treat our family, friends and animals, life cycles of caterpillars and the bible story of Noah and the Ark.
